The setting on Oman’s northern Musandam Peninsula is certainly very dramatic, the rugged Hajjar mountains to the rear and a 1.6 kilometre sandy beach to the front. Even getting here is an experience - after your BMW transfer from the airport you have the option of completing your journey by power boat, a winding drive down the mountains or else you can really make an entrance and strap yourself to a professional paraglider!
The 82 pool villas are equally innovative, of course, each one reflecting the style of traditional Arabic summer houses complete with rustic chic décor – think plenty of darks woods set off by coffee-and-cream colour schemes. Couples in- love are the target audience here and everyone has their own infinity-edge pool, outdoor dining terrace and on-call butler. Some units are single-storey, others are two; some are located right on the beachfront and a few even have their own in-villa treatment rooms where therapists can pamper you in complete privacy.

mountain to pan-Asian and Middle Eastern dinners on the torch lit sands. A new seafood
venue takes full advantage of the latest catch-of-the-day, with in-villa and private
dining experiences also on the menu. And whilst to stay here, you can fully immerse
yourself in Oman, there’s also non-motorised water sports, scuba-diving, paragliding
and an holistic spa on-site, the latter boasting nine treatment rooms and two Arabian
hammams inspired by centuries of tradition. Yet if you really want to forget all
about 21st century living in the west, take advantage of the Arabic lessons, cooking
classes and local craft shop; a veritable cornucopia of excursions available to ensure
you return home with far more than just a suntan.
